ITL BioMedical to Showcase the New Cell Culture Sampler and Proven Sampling Solutions at AABB 2025
by Editorial Team
Innovative, Sterile, and Closed-System Devices for Blood Banking and Cellular Therapy Workflows
Reston, VA — ITL BioMedical, a global leader in the design and manufacture of safe, efficient medical devices for biological sampling, will exhibit at the AABB 2025 Annual Meeting, taking place October 25–27, 2025, at the San Diego Convention Center. Attendees can visit Booth 1204 in Halls F–H to see ITL’s latest sterile sampling innovations and meet with company representatives.
This year, ITL BioMedical will debut its new Cell Culture Sampler (CCS)—a sterile, single-use device designed for closed-path sampling from cell culture bags into blood culture bottles or vacuum collection tubes. Its integrated dual air-vent syringes, Luer-activated valve, and blue adapter cap are arranged to support aseptic technique and help keep the pathway closed during manual steps.
In addition to the CCS, ITL BioMedical will highlight several trusted products that improve lab safety, efficiency, and workflow continuity:
- SampLok® Sampling Kit: Streamline platelet sampling while reducing needlestick risk
- SampLok® Adapter Cap 3: Compact design for safer and more efficient blood culture sample collection
- Adapter Cap with Male Luer Lock: Secure, direct blood culture sampling for improved safety
- Adapter Cap with Female Luer: Safe, needle-free blood culture collection for enhanced safety
All showcased products will be available for live demonstration and discussion with ITL’s technical team during exhibit hours:
- Saturday, October 25: 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. (Opening Reception)
- Sunday, October 26: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, October 27: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
“We’re proud to introduce the Cell Culture Sampler, which expands our commitment to sterile, closed-system sampling,” said Craig Wilson, CEO of ITL BioMedical. “Our goal is to help laboratories and manufacturers enhance process control and protect both staff and sample integrity.”
“AABB 2025 is the ideal venue to showcase how our solutions are supporting next-generation blood banking and cellular therapy applications,” added John Tonkinson, Ph.D., Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. “We look forward to connecting with industry professionals who share our focus on innovation and safety.”
